Beyond memory

Man is bound by his memory.

Without memory he is a lump.

With it he sees things good and bad.

With it he sees men harsh or sweet.

Memory stores love and hatred,

Also gratitude and revenge.

Greed and jealousy generate.

Care and compassion spring forth.

Memory is governed by Chit (Intelligence)

It is above human emotions.

Chit can be reached by practicing

Detachment and meditation.
